Easter at the Henley River & Rowing Museum 2018

Henley River and Rowing Museum have a daily Easter Egg trail every day over the Easter Holidays where children can have fun following a bunny trail around the museum and claim a mini Easter Egg as your prize.

Easter Bunny Hunt at Waterperry Gardens

Join the Big Easter Bunny Hunt around the ornamental gardens at Waterperry. Find them all and claim a special Easter prize. £2 per child – children must be accompanied by an adult for whom the garden entrance fee applies. Runs from 24th March – 15th April.

Super Saturday Skate, Oxford Ice Rink: 7 April 2018

A fun drop in session for skaters of all abilities at The Oxford Ice Rink

SSC Catapults and Castles – Break the Battlements: 7 April 2018

Since ancient times, the catapult has been a masterful piece of technology used by armies to smash the walls of castles and fortresses. From trebuchets to ballistas and mangonels, these powerful siege engines were craftily engineered to fire objects such as rocks and burning tar balls a very long way. Now it’s the turn of your young engineers to build and test their own sling-shot machines before working in teams to try and overcome the opponents battlements.

Date: Saturday 7 April 10am – 11.30am, 12.30pm – 2pm and 2.30pm – 4pm

Suitable for ages 5-9

Easter at Cogges Farm

An eggciting two weeks at Cogges Farm this Easter with lots of activities to keep your little ones entertained  over the Easter holidays.

Each day brings a different reason to pop along to Cogges, plus an Easter trail available throughout the  Easter school holidays for £2 including a prize at the end!

Easter at Millets Farm

Millets Easter event will be taking place at Millets Maze Courtyard…all the puzzling fun without the maize!

Spring into game mode and help Farmer Carter with the great quiz trails and activities within the woodlands, fort maze and courtyard!

Join the Millets Shepherd’s in the exciting ‘Farmer’s Carter’s Animal Barn’ and enjoy a ride on Farmer Carter’s tractor trailer.

There will also be courtyard games including ride ons, trampolines, skittle alley and sandpit plus a small shop where you can get a cup of tea and a snack.

Date and time: 30 March – 14 April 10am-4.30pm (Last entry at 3pm)

Cost: £5.99 per child, £3.99 per adult

Maze Area-Located behind the overflow car park.

The maize crop is planted in April and ready for July and therefore the maize maze is closed until 18 July.

Ttravel underground to make your very own jumpy bunny, mole in a hole, brilliant badger, bouncy bat, playful fox and mischievous meerket.

Available Saturdays and every day during the Oxfordshire school holidays.

Times: 10:30am – 12:30pm and 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Cost: £2 per child

Suitable for: Children age 3+

Booking Information: Tickets available from the Museum Shop 10 minutes before the event starts. Please note that drop-in activities can be very popular. If very busy on the day, we will restrict tickets to timed entry slots. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis. Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by, and remain with, an adult at all times.

Highway Rat Activity Trail at Wendover Woods: 7 & 8 April 2018

The Highway Rat is the latest Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler book to be brought to life at Wendover Woods.

Follow the panels, complete activities and interact with the forest as you head on a journey with The Highway Rat and all the characters from the story!

The Sagas of Noggin the Nog at Didcot Cornerstone

In the Lands of the North where the black rocks stand guard against the cold sea the Men of the Northlands sit around their great log fires and tell a tale. The viking storytellers bring the wonderful tales of Noggin created by Oliver Postgate & Peter Firmin to the stage in this new piece of theatre for Children, Families and Fans.

Accompanied by the brave and mighty ThorNogson and the great green bird Graculus, we go North on a journey of adventure & discovery to battle the fearsome Ice Dragon and the dastardly deeds of Noggin’s wicked uncle; Nogbad the Bad! Silly vikings, puppets, projection, live music.
