The Adventures of Book Worm at Oxford Story Museum

A fantastic Early Years activity with puppeteer and author Emma Boor! Come along and meet book worm and join in his amazing adventures through the world of story books. An interactive puppets and play session with music, gentle clowning and lots of joining in. Suitable for children aged 0-5 years.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. All children and adults must have a ticket to attend.

Booking in advance is advised.

Easter at the Henley River & Rowing Museum 2018

Henley River and Rowing Museum have a daily Easter Egg trail every day over the Easter Holidays where children can have fun following a bunny trail around the museum and claim a mini Easter Egg as your prize.

Easter Bunny Hunt at Waterperry Gardens

Join the Big Easter Bunny Hunt around the ornamental gardens at Waterperry. Find them all and claim a special Easter prize. £2 per child – children must be accompanied by an adult for whom the garden entrance fee applies. Runs from 24th March – 15th April.

Super Saturday Skate, Oxford Ice Rink: 7 April 2018

A fun drop in session for skaters of all abilities at The Oxford Ice Rink

All children love playing doctors and nurses, but what about robotic surgeons? At the first of the new Maker Club Juniors workshops for 9-12 year-olds, they’ll create and play a ‘maker’ version of the classic game Operation. Using little more than cardboard, tinfoil, wires and buzzers, they will build a “patient” before working as a team to program robot arms to help remove the poorly parts – whether that’s Charlie’s Horse or the Funny Bone. A fun exploration of the human body combined with a taste of technology..

Date: Saturday 14 April 10am – 11.30am and 12.30pm – 2pm

Easter at Millets Farm

Millets Easter event will be taking place at Millets Maze Courtyard…all the puzzling fun without the maize!

Spring into game mode and help Farmer Carter with the great quiz trails and activities within the woodlands, fort maze and courtyard!

Join the Millets Shepherd’s in the exciting ‘Farmer’s Carter’s Animal Barn’ and enjoy a ride on Farmer Carter’s tractor trailer.

There will also be courtyard games including ride ons, trampolines, skittle alley and sandpit plus a small shop where you can get a cup of tea and a snack.

Date and time: 30 March – 14 April 10am-4.30pm (Last entry at 3pm)

Cost: £5.99 per child, £3.99 per adult

Maze Area-Located behind the overflow car park.

The maize crop is planted in April and ready for July and therefore the maize maze is closed until 18 July.

Ttravel underground to make your very own jumpy bunny, mole in a hole, brilliant badger, bouncy bat, playful fox and mischievous meerket.

Available Saturdays and every day during the Oxfordshire school holidays.

Times: 10:30am – 12:30pm and 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Suitable for: Children age 3+

Booking Information: Tickets available from the Museum Shop 10 minutes before the event starts. Please note that drop-in activities can be very popular. If very busy on the day, we will restrict tickets to timed entry slots. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis. Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by, and remain with, an adult at all times.

Highway Rat Activity Trail at Wendover Woods: 14 & 15 April 2018

The Highway Rat is the latest Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler book to be brought to life at Wendover Woods.

Follow the panels, complete activities and interact with the forest as you head on a journey with The Highway Rat and all the characters from the story!

MINI VUE CINEMA IN OXFORD, 14 & 15 April 2018

Little Ankle Biters are always on the look out for ways to entertain the kids without spending a fortune, and going to the cinema for just £2.49 per person is one way of doing it, especially on a rainy day.

Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs 2: The Magic Cutlass at Didcot Cornerstone


Flinn is back! Les Petits theatre company returns to the high seas after their hugely successful and award winning shows David Walliams’ The First Hippo on the Moonand Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs.

The Magic Cutlass is the hugely anticipated sequel based on the book by Giles Andreae and Russell Ayto. When Flinn is in the middle of his school play his old nemesis, Mr T the T-Rex, appears and kidnaps his friends forcing them to hunt for the Magic Cutlass; a sword that grants any wish!

The children are whisked away for another fantastic adventure to a world of devious dinosaurs, deep sea dangers and smelly sausages.

Innocence at Didcot Cornerstone

A unique playroom performance, Innocence invites little ones (and their adults), to explore William Blake’s imagination and enter a realm of mystery, fun and adventure.
