Little Ankle Biters have put together a list of baby and toddler groups in and around Oxford on a Thursday most groups operate in term time only



Help your baby communicate from the word go with Chatterbabies! Designed and run by qualified Speech and Language Therapist Laura Davies, Chatterbabies language classes use fun activities such as songs, signing, sensory play, books and puppets to help develop all aspects of your child’s communication. We also give parents information on the hows and whys of your baby’s language development, along with simple ideas of activities for home. Classes are run in small groups according to age, and are currently available for babies aged 3 months – 1 year.

Classes cost £35 for a half term block of sessions, with your first, trial session FREE!

Anyone with a small child (up to age 5) is welcome to drop in, meet friends, let children play, and buy refreshments. . There is plenty of space for the toys, book corner and climbing frame, and facilities for changing babies. They welcome mums who want to breast-feed, and are happy to provide child-size portions of any item on the menu that can be down-sized!

Rainbow House takes place at Wesley Methodist Memorial Hall in Oxford between 10.30 and 2.00 (Term-time)

Wood Farm Parent & Toddler Group are a fun and friendly group, where everyone is welcome. A place for the children to make friends. The age range is 0-5 years.
Wood Farm Parent & Toddler Group takes place at The Youth Centre Building in Headington between 9am – 12 (Term time)

Jellytots Baby & Toddler Group takes place at St James Church Centre, Beuchamp Lane, Oxford between 10:15am – 12 (Term time)

Ride and Time Play Sessions welcomes all children under 5 to play their fantastic selection of ride-ons toys to choose from.

This group takes place at Kidlington Scout Centre, Blenhein Road. between 10-11.30am

Costs £5 per child (£3.50 for siblings)

At Monkey Music, they know that music is fundamental to a pre-school aged child’s development. Their progressive and educational four stage curricula are designed to nurture a lifetime of music: from rock ‘n’ roll to ding-dong, classes are a ‘good fit’ for each separate age group.
