Easter Bunny Hunt at Waterperry Gardens
1 – 24 April
The Easter Bunny Hunt at Waterperry Gardens is taking place between 1st April till 24th April, 10am till 5.30pm daily
Join the Big Easter Bunny Hunt around the ornamental gardens. Find them all and claim a special Easter prize. £2.50 per child – children must be accompanied by an adult for whom the garden entrance fee applies.

Easter Family Fun at the River & Rowing Museum
6 – 22 April
Meet Rabbits, chicks and goats, make a sleepy sheepy or enjoy the Easter Egg Hunt. The museum will be bouncing with bunnies and cheeping with chicks

Easter at Cogges
6 – 22 April
Giant Easter nests have taken over Cogges. Visitors to the farm over the Easter holidays will discover a trail of climb-in, get-involved, & clamber-on nests made with natural materials that you might find in the surrounding fields and forest. Imagine yourselves as woodland creatures, get dressed-up and hunt for eggs in the Easter play barn, ride mini tractors and run free through the beautiful landscape of Cogges looking for signs of spring.
At weekends, you’ll be able to join in with meet-the-animal sessions at 11am and 2pm, as well as try tasty treats in the manor house kitchen. The Easter trail is £3 and is redeemable for a prize in the gift shop.
On Tuesday 9th April and 16th April Cogges’ Woodland Club will be busy under the trees crafting and cooking over a campfire (just drop-in).
There will also be a programme of shows and performances throughout the holidays, including ‘egg-drop challenge’ workshops from Science Oxford on Wednesday 10th April, Treasure Island family theatre on Thursday 11th April, and Nick Cope on Good Friday 19th April. Please note that these events require booking in advance for an additional cost.
Only one question remains, who could possibly lay giant nests with enormous eggs?

Easter Trail at Thame Museum
6 – 30 April
Join Thame Museum over the Easter Holidays for some Easter fun – Entry is FREE
Can you find the 9 Easter chicks hidden round the Museum? Find them all and complete the trail sheet to win an Easter Sticker. Available throughout April.
On Saturday 20th April the museum are hosting an Easter fun activity morning with Creation Station.
There will be activities to interest a range of ages, from all things Roman related to making Easter baskets. Entry is FREE but charges apply to some activities

Decorate an Easter Egg with Frosts Garden Centre
8 – 18 April
Have Fun at Frosts meeting the Easter Bunny, where he will give every child a small gift!
Children can then get creative by decorating their very own chocolate Easter egg with a selection of yummy sweeties perfect to take home for an Easter treat. Children will ﬁnish the activity with a bunny hunt around the Garden Centre and a glass of squash.

Baby Boogie a Pegasus Theatre
Dancin’ Oxford’s favourite family event Baby Boogie is back. Bounce onto the dance floor, throw some shapes and groove to the tunes from a live DJ. Disco sessions start at 11:30am and 2:30pm. If you fancy a warm up workshop arrive an hour earlier at 10:30am or the 1:30pm. Great fun for you and your under 5’s places £5 or £7 with the warm up workshop.

In the Willows at Oxford Playhouse

But when Toad gets locked up for joyriding, the Weasel Clan break into his (lily)pad. It’s now only a matter of time before Chief Weasel reveals Mole’s dark secret…

Easter Egg Making at Rumseys
Rumseys make all their chocolate by hand. It takes time, patience and lots of skill – but the results are worth it. Would you like to have a go at making an Easter Egg for yourself?

Muckers at Oxford Playhouse
17 – 20 April
Paloma has always mucked about with Pijon. They love it. They run wild. They dress up. Like tigers, flamenco dancers, queens, kings, rabbits and Lady Gaga. Everything. Life is fun and funny and a little bit loopy. Until all of a sudden, Paloma comes face to face with a blinding light named Big Luce. Paloma doesn’t understand what she’s done wrong but Big Luce just won’t leave her be. Paloma and Pijon are catapulted into a strange new world where they begin their surreal adventure, determined to find out what Big Luce is all about.
Created by award-winning theatre maker Caroline Horton and an international ensemble, Muckers is a funny, magical, physical production for ages 5+.
Performed in both English and Spanish, with original songs, this mischievous show asks what it takes to stand proud and be true to ourselves, and how we empower the next generation to do the same.

Easter at Blenheim Palace
19 – 22 April
The Blenheim Palace Pleasure Gardens will transform into an Easter wonderland with lots of interactive experiences, family-friendly activities, Easter trails and shows to enjoy.
Find a traditional fairground, Dressing Up Tent, Princess Meet & Greet plus Conk the Clown Punch and Judy and Carnival Birds walkabout.
Embark on an Easter Bunny Walkabout, or frolic with the fairy stilt walkers; plus have a go at Archery and get jumping on the bouncy castle or try bungee trampolining!
Families can also see an Easter Puppet Show, watch Balloon Twisters, take part in Circus Skills Workshops and have their faces painted over the four-day celebration.

The Green Dragon Spring Babies event is a family friendly event and will host a variety of themed educational and fun experiences and activities. During the school holidays there will be a full programme of animal encounters with lots of new babies to get close to, such as Oxford Sandy & Black piglets, goat kids, ducklings and chicks.
