A shadow at the window, a sprinkling of fairy dust and then straight on till morning: the Darling children are off on an adventure. Can Peter Pan lead the Lost Boys to victory, or will Hook win Neverland?

This winter, pull up a chair for Creation Theatre’s eighth family Christmas show at The North Wall. From the creative team behind last year’s sell-out A Christmas Carol and 2016’s anarchic Snow White and Other Tales from the Brothers Grimm, this brand-new adaptation of J.M Barrie’s Peter Pan is packed full of songs, sword fights and awfully big adventures.

Peter Pan - Aylesbury Waterside Theatre

Aylesbury Waterside Theatre and UK Productions have this week announced that this year’s traditional family panto will be Peter Pan!

Flying into Aylesbury Waterside Theatre for Christmas 2018 is the swashbuckling family adventure Peter Pan from Fri 7 – Mon 31 Dec.

Meet the Lost Boys, Tiger Lily and Tinkerbell, and get ready for a fun-filled show full of fairy dust and pirates galore. Set sail for Neverland, take on Captain Hook and prepare for out-of-this-world flying effects, galleons of laughter, and the hungriest of crocodiles!

Suitable for young tinks (and those who never want to grow up!) this festive extravaganza is on sale now, so hook your tickets today.

Witney Wonderland 

30 November – 5 January

The first ever WITNEY WONDERLAND will be lighting up St Mary’s Church in Witney, Oxfordshire this Christmas.  Visitors will be treated to see a host of illuminated Christmas trees and magical decorations, arranged around the chapels of St Mary’s Church for the month-long Christmas Festival of music, arts and Christmas fun!

This brand new annual event is run by Joss Searchlight, a local children’s cancer charity who provide support to ill children and their families across the region working together with St Mary’s Parish events team.

St Mary’s and the Church Green is a hugely popular destination in Witney,celebrating its 775th anniversary,  it’s only befitting that a fun filled, month of festivities should come to the town for such a joyous time of year! The glittering trees are being decorated in a variety of imaginative ways by businesses, charities and community groups. Head to Witney and see the amazing 12ft Gold sponsor trees from Oxford Products, Unipart, Noble Foods, Cottsway, Whites of Oxford and Burford Laundry.

During the festival, there will also be an  ‘I LOVE Witney’ photography exhibition and a public vote to name visitor’s favourite photo. This free-to-enter festival is open to visitors from 9am to 5pm every day until Saturday January 5th. There are also a host of special events and performances planned throughout the festival including; Pam Ayres, Big Bands, Swing Patrol, Military Wives Choir, Burford Orchestra and local music talent.

Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, Wycombe Swan

This Christmas bring the kiddies to the fairest Panto in all the land Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs at the Wycombe Swan, staring none other than Strictly Come Dancing legend Brendan Cole in his pantomime debut!

This year’s panto will be spectacularly bought to life with an abundance of comedy, sensational song and dance numbers, fabulous costumes and stunning scenery. Throw in a magical mirror, a beautiful princess, a handsome prince and plenty of audience participation as we outwit the wicked queen, and let love prevail in this glittering festive treat for all ages.

Dick Whittington & his Cat panto Oxford

Following the huge success of Jack and the Beanstalk, join Oxford Playhouse for a pirate, pussycat and rat-packed panto party!

Dick Whittington’s heading to town to seek his fortune – he’s heard the streets are paved with gold. But when he gets there, it’s hard to see the gold beneath the grime and King Rat is out to get him!

And that’s just the start of his adventures. With his trusty cat in tow and pirate ships on the horizon, Dick’s going to need a little help from you if he’s going to win the day.

Christmas at Blenheim

The Blenheim Palace winter trail will be brighter than ever before with lasers, projections, and thousands of pea-lights.

From the delicate and twinkling to the grand and spectacular, the Formal Gardens will light up once again for a festive journey of exploration and wonder. Wander beneath unique tree canopies drenched in seasonal colour, shards of light, frosty snowflakes, stars and glistening baubles, and catch a glimpse of Santa and his elves along the way.

Highlights include a new Field of Light, scented Fire Garden, Canopy of Light, and the mesmerising voices of the Singing Trees.

Cinderella Blenheim


Wander along colonnades and through historic rooms filled with hidden surprises, the sights and sounds conjure up much-loved fairy tale characters.

The Stepmother’s drawing room set for Afternoon Tea, the Ugly Sister’s room is bright and bold, scattered with clothes, books and shoes. Whilst Cinderella’s room is home to her delicate hand-made gown. Walk further into the crystal world of The Fairy Godmother, then along to the Prince’s charmingly grand room.

Midnight strikes, the clocks all chime, and as the story ends, hang your own wish upon the Wishing Tree in the romantically candlelit chapel.

This Christmas, prepare for sunnier climes and a little adventure…   Far, far away in a mysterious land, Aladdin is about to embark on the greatest adventure of all time…

Calling all intrepid explorers! Grab your compass and hop aboard the bi-plane as the nation’s favourite traditional panto heads for Egypt.

With dancing mummies, disappearing pyramids and a deeply daft genie, expect a laughter-filled spectacular. This is Aladdin as you’ve never seen it before! When Aladdin meets Jasmine, both are sure their luck will change, but the wicked Abanazar has other plans.

Family friendly from start to finish, and packed with magical marvels and toe-tapping tunes, this is the Chippy Panto you’ve been wishing for.

Ice Skating at Millets Farm

Ice skating at Millets

Indulge in some festive fun for all the family with Ice Skating on our REAL Ice Rink at Millets Farm. The Ice skating rink is fully undercover so can be enjoyed whatever the weather. Follow your skate with a trip to the fully enclosed, undercover Moose Lodge Ice Cafe where you will find an array of delicious festive treats!

The Ice Rink is back from Saturday 17th November 2018 and will be open until Thursday 6th January 2019.

Waddesdon Christmas Fair Market Buckinghamshire November December 2018


Waddesdon’s Christmas Carnival runs from 10 November 2018 – 2 January 2019 (Wed – Sun). From dusk the grounds will come to life with a magical music and light show on the front of the house, the stables and the aviary.
