BONFIRE AND FIREWORKS PARTY AT OLD SWAN AND MINSTER MILL

Celebrate Guy Fawkes night at the Old Swan & Minster Mill with their bonfire and fireworks party. In addition, we will be serving a delicious hog roast and there will be a beer & wine tent.

Location: Old Swan & Minster Mill, Old Minster, OX29 0RN Witney, Oxfordshire

HANBOROUGH MUSICAL FIREWORKS 2017

The event will include a fairground, BBQ, toasted marshmallows, jacket potatoes, hot and cold drinks and a lot more. A great night and all proceeds go towards village charities. Gates open at 6pm, display starts 7.15pm.

MILL LANE FIREWORKS DISPLAY IN CHINNOR

Mill Lane School Firework Display is taking place on  Friday 3rd November – Gates open at 6pm – display at 7pm

Advance ticket price from Chinnor Parish Council office – £5 per person and £20 for a family of 5

Location: Mill Lane Community Primary School, Mill Lane, Chinnor OX39 4RF

OXFORD ROUND TABLE DISPLAY AT SOUTH PARK

Oxford Round Table’s 50th Annual Charity Fireworks Display takes place on Saturday 4th November 2017 at South Park, Headington Hill, Oxford and features: –

  • Their traditional spectacular fireworks display from Kimbolton Fireworks
  • Their equally traditional enormous raging bonfire
  • JACK fm’s soundstage featuring great entertainment from local acts
  • Hebborn’s Funfair
  • Fully licenced bar on site
  • Special family tent, enclosure and viewing area accessible with our new super family ticket

The event is organised and run for free by volunteers from Oxford Round Table and all profits from the event are donated to local charities, with more than £1m raised since their first display in 1967.

Location: South Park, Headington Hill, Oxford, Oxfordshire OX4 1JE

Date and time:  Saturday 4th November. Gates open at 4:30pm with the display starting at 6:45pm

THAME FIREWORKS DISPLAY

The annual Thame Fireworks Display returns for Bonfire Night 2017 in Oxfordshire.

This is a community event, open to all. It is run by volunteers from the three Thame Primary Schools; Barley Hill, John Hampden and St Joseph’s. All money raised goes to the PTFA of each school and benefits the children of Thame.

Location: Lord Williams Lower School, Towersey Road, Thame. Oxon

THE CHARLBURY CRICKET CLUB BONFIRE & FIREWORKS DISPLAY 2017

This will take place on Saturday 4th November 2017, and we look forward to another great display by the ‘Nick Merry Team’ and to welcoming everyone to another great evening at Charlbury Cricket Club.

BICESTER ROUND TABLE AND FIREWORKS NIGHT

A night of fun with Fairground, Bonfire, Music, Hot Food stands and a stand run by Bicester Ladies Circle. Tickets will available on the gate, cheaper advanced tickets will be available online and also Sun Wah, Wah Hong and Bicester Village Visitors centre.

WHEATLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL DISPLAY

Wheatley Primary School Fireworks Night is ‪on Saturday November 4th‬, gates open ‪5.30pm‬, display ‪starts at 7pm‬.

There will be a fantastic firework display, live music, fairground rides, hot food, bar, hog roast, fun & games and more

WALLINGFORD BONFIRE AND FIREWORKS

WALLINGFORD 1155 take great pride in organising Wallingford’s annual bonfire night celebrations on the Kinecroft, with a huge bonfire and enormous firework display the event attracts thousands of people from the Wallingford district.

MAPLEDURHAM FIREWORKS

Celebrate Bonfire Night at Mapledurham! Enjoy a fun-filled evening with food stalls, a bonfire and a spectacular firework display.

Just minutes from Reading, Mapledurham is the perfect venue to celebrate Bonfire Night with your friends, family or colleagues.

ABC… STORY AT OXFORD STORY MUSEUM – 4 NOVEMBER

Explore a different story (The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Tomlinson) each week. Each session includes a welcome, a story, a stay-and-play time and an activity – messy play, movement or creative play. Ages 0-3

CHANGING MATERIALS – SATURDAY SCIENCE CLUB

There are spooky goings on with materials such as sugar, soap and steel doing very strange things. Bring along your young chemists for some experimental fun – they’ll use a burner to heat up various materials and watch what happens, before using their new found knowledge to create some creepy candle decorations to take home..

ASTRONAUT SCHOOL – SATURDAY SCIENCE CLUB EXTRA

Does your child dream of being the next Tim Peake or Helen Sharman? Our out-of-this-world workshop will teach aspiring astronauts about the chemical and physical forces that make space travel possible. They will get a chance to design, build and launch a rocket and work out how to make a safe landing. A great introduction to life off-planet!

BRICK WONDERS LEGO EXHIBITION AT BANBURY MUSEUM

Calling lego builders and mini-brick architects big and small… A world of imagination and creativity is waiting for you! Discover the endless possibilities, as you journey through history and around the globe discovering brick wonders, carefully crafted using over a quarter of a million of these much-loved little bricks.

A treat for all ages, bring your curiosity, build your imagination and explore the world brick by brick. Marvel at the shapes and structures that can be snapped together to create the most iconic wonders of the world, including the Great Wall of China, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Great Pyramid of Giza and Niagara Falls.

MINI MORNINGS AT VUE CINEMA IN OXFORD

Little Ankle Biters are always on the look out for ways to entertain the kids without spending a fortune, and going to the cinema for just £2.49 per person is one way of doing it, especially on a rainy day.

LITTLE MONSTERS AT BICESTER AVENUE WYEVALE GARDEN CENTRE

THE GREAT PUMPKIN HUNT AT WATERPERRY GARDENS

FRIENDS OF FRITWELL SCHOOL FIREWORKS DISPLAY

All the fun of the fireworks plus mulled wine and a BBQ too!

Location: Fritwell CE School, East Street, Fritwell, Bicester OX27 7PX

Date: Sunday 5 November

Tickets available through the Friends of Fritwell School or St Wrightons Shop in Fritwell village. Adult – £5.00, Children – 3.50 and Under 4’s – £1.00.

 

 

BODICOTE FIREWORKS DISPLAY

One of Banbury’s biggest displays will again be held in Bodicote. There will be a funfair and refreshments stalls add to the fun.

Location: White Post Road, Bodicote, Banbury OX15

Date and time: Gates open at 6.30pm.

 

 

WITNEY RFC BONFIRE AND FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR

This spectacular event will have a hog roast, drinks and fairground rides along with spectacular siaplay.
