Little Ankle Biters have put together a list of places that offer hockey coaching for children in Oxfordshire.

ABINGDON HOCKEY CLUB

Abingdon Avengers provides a safe, fun and professional hockey environment for girls and boys aged 6 to 12 to learn and enjoy the sport. Sessions are held throughout the season on a Sunday morning from 10am – 11am and are run at Tilsley Park astro-turf pitches by qualified experienced coaches. Refreshments are available while you watch!

BANBURY HOCKEY CLUB

This club has a wealth of coaching experience to develop your child as a hockey player and throughout the season we will have lots of junior matches, festivals and events for all age groups

BICESTER HOCKEY CLUB

Bicester’s club has a fantastic junior section with over 150 members, ranging from age 5 to 16 years old.
The U8’s to U12’s play in local festivals, whilst the U14’s & U16’s play in local leagues.

This club provides regular coaching, training and matches for boys and girls aged from 4 to 16 years old. Coaching and training for these players is organised and carried out by qualified coaches working with other club members and parents to help develop our future club and representative players

OXFORD HOCKEY CLUB

In the winter season Oxford Hockey Club has a large junior section, offering a friendly, competitive and sociable environment, whatever your standard or previous playing experience.

They are based at Oxford Brookes University Sports Centre in Headington.

THAME HOCKEY CLUB

Thame’s Club was only formed in 2008 and has developed into a thriving club. They currently run three junior teams starting at their under 8 team

Their home grounds is at the Lord Williams’s School astro turf situated at the Thame Leisure Centre (OX9 2BB).
