We visited the Lego exhibition at Banbury Museum over half term and my girls had a great time.
Access to the museum is via Castle Quay shopping centre and we were greeted by the lovely people at the museum. We walked through the corridor that goes over the canal which hosted a number of interactive displays that the children had great pleasure in playing with.
On entry into the Lego Exhibition we were greeted with over 20 different displays of Lego which must have taken weeks to build. As the centre piece to the exhibition you had the vast and very intricate airport surrounded by a variety of other landmarks from around the world, including The Great Wall of China, The Grand Canyon, The Hoover Dam, Niagra Falls and much more.
Lego and Duplo interactive play walls and tables were also dotted around the exhibition which were very popular with everyone – including me!
We spent about an hour looking and playing with Lego and then headed into Banbury for lunch at the amazing Pizza Calzone.
The Lego Exhibition is only on until the 18th November so if you plan on going you only have a few weeks left.
